O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

It was a little scary getting the Christmas tree this year. I say scary, because Sean and I did it all alone, two novices. Our good friends the Whatcotts, let us borrow their truck to pick up the tree. It was fun walking around the lot, picking out the most beautiful and perfect tree. We picked up Brinkley, Sean's friend, on the way home and she was a great help. First we had to don the Santa hats to give us special magic to get the job done. There were pine needles everywhere, but it smelled great.

The tree looks really good, but overnight, it started leaning very badly, at a 30 degree angle. Gina offered her husband Bruce's help to come and straighten the tree. It took quite a bit of effort, but he did a great job and we were so thankful for his help.

Here we are, the three of us, isn't Brinkley cute? She just moved to Utah from Arizona before the school year started. She is the only girl in her family, of 5 children.

Brinkley and Sean decorated the stair banisters. They did a great job. The dangling grapes are lights. We used to have eight stockings, but our family is getting smaller. Really it is getting bigger, because we have wonderful sons and daughter in laws, and two adorably luscious grandchildren.

Hello Cynthia. This is Brinkley's mom - Kimberly. Thanks for letting Brinkley help you and Sean decorate for Christmas. She had a great time. We think Sean is great. I worry that they are young...not even 16 though!:) We sure hate to see your family move away now that Brinkley and Sean have become good friends. We have some good friends from home - Skip Whatcott Family. Any relation to your Whatcott friends...I wonder??? Thanks for your friendship with Brinkley. She really admires you.
