On Monday, Sean applied for a job at Burger King. It is about a half mile from the house. On Tuesday, he went to orientation, and yesterday (Wednesday) he worked at Burger King for 2 hours. He works for 6 hours on Saturday. It helps when your father knows the owner of all the Burger Kings in town.....He only needs to work about twice a week, just enough to pay his cell phone bill and a little extra.
This isn't really Sean's first job as he did a lot of lawn mowing and worked as a "sweeper" at Midas Creek Elementary. It is the first job where the minimum age requirement is 16. Sean saved over $500 when he worked at the elementary school and lawn mowing, and he thinks he will save a lot at this job too.
