Sean

Sean has had a lot of new experiences in his life, lately.

He applied for a job at Burger King just down the road from us on Friday. He goes to orientatiion on Monday. He has done lawn mowing before, and been a sweeper (custodian) at an Elementary School. This is his first REAL job. I took the picture of Sean in the blue shirt, right before he drove (himself) to the interview.

Then there was LDS Prom. Sean got the invitation in the mail, for youth 16 years old and up, in High school. He promptly ignored the invitation. Then a couple of weeks later, Ricky and I couldn't find Sean after church. We finally found out that he and the other priest age boys were "locked" in the Bishop's office. The Bishop wouldn't let them leave until each and everyone of them agreed to go to the prom. That is a bit of an exageration, but we are grateful to the Bishop for urging the Young Men to go.
It was last night, and it was held at a resort close to Leesburg. There were about 120 youth. They had a formal dinner and some ballroom dancing lessons, and had a great time. There were four boys and 2 girls from our ward who drove with the bishop and his wife to the prom. A great time was had by all!
Gone are the days when we walk across the street to go to church.

That's too funny. What a great Bishop. I'm glad that Sean went. He looks great.
