St. Augustine - warning: lots of pics!

Ricky had a conference in St. Augustine, so he and I went on Wednesday, and Vanessa and Sean joined us after school and work on Friday. We stayed at a golf resort. This is a picture of one of the buildings, we thought it was neat!

This is a fun painting in the lobby of golf from the past to the present.

This is the view out of our hotel window.

This is the view outside of our hotel room door.

Beautiful buildings in St. Augustine, the oldest city in the nation. It is a "must see".

Vanessa ordered gator tail, real gator tail! Sean even tried a miniscule bite and said it was good!

These little lizards are everywhere, I mean everywhere...we try to keep them out the house though if you were wondering.

Look Bridger, Nessie is about to get her hand bitten off!!!

You don't see this very often...

Aaaaaahhhh.....

We went on this tour after dark and went to the oldest jail, the first drugstore and the first hospital, all haunted, with characters telling us ghost stories. The jail was the most fun!

We of course made it to the beach.

Sean wanted to be buried so we obliged him.

We had a great time and are going back there at the end of July for three days with all of our children and grandchildren. We rented 3 bedrooms at a hotel that walks onto the beach. Can hardly wait!

Oh my gosh, stop everything. Vanessa looks just like you. You are both so beautiful.

Unbelievable place. There are some of the coolest places down there. I want to go. It always looks so fun.

That looks really fun--especially the beach part. Maybe I'll make Sean baby sit while we go on the haunted tour (punishment for leaving mud everywhere...)
