This post is only for your eyes to communicate with your taste buds.......Sean and I took le Metro to Paul's metro station. We got off the train and waited for him on the platform. Then we all got back on the train and went to this incredible market, it was in the Little Italy part of the city. I had to take a picture of everything, it was so beautiful. The colors, the shapes anf the displays. There were beautiful pastry stands but I was too intrigued as to what to sample, not remembering to take any pictures. I bought a date square that was so delicious. The date filling was half and inch thick and the crumb mixture held together with honey maybe? That reminds me, there were huge displays of every variety and consistency of maple syrups and honey. Here goes......
In all my wonder, I forgot to take pictures of us at the market. This photo of Paul is the only one I have!
This was a breakfast crepe that I had, with an egg, cheese and sauteed tomatoes and onions.
Even Sean was able to find a crepe that suited his taste.....Chocolate and caramel.
Yes, I did buy a basket of these radishes and ate every single one of them myself. I love radishes, just call me Rapunzel's mother! If you don't get it, you will have to read the book.
Yes, this is cotton. We touched it and could feel the seeds inside.
Sean bought one of those miniature cones with maple syrup sugar inside.
Eggplant, can you believe all the different colors and how perfect they look?
Cauliflower, when did you become so colorful?
There were little bees enjoying each of these gorgeous sunflowers.
Then there was this wall mural which is kind of interesting.
The market isn't just a market, it is a feast for your senses. Does anyone else feel the way I do?

Hi Cindy, We had so much fun in Montreal. Going over the St. Lambert and seeing where you were raised was a special point. The market and the antique store were next. I did love our hotel. Did you look at my blog about the material I bought in Montreal. I went ga ga over it. It's a good thing we didn't spend more time in Old Montreal, I'm sure I would have had to have something from every shop. You church pics are amazing and that fruit stand. I've never seen anything like it. Such presentation - those pictures should be framed and hung. The creps make me druel.
Talk to ya later
