Okay, I hope that none of you make fun of me for all the sewing I am doing. Sean is in Utah for 2 weeks, Vanessa works every day, the house is clean, and there is really nothing else for me to do.....I go to exercise most mornings, come home and start creating. Oh ya, and the phone seldom rings. Yesterday, I made all the circles to sew onto the scallops of the border for the comforts of home quilt. I probably should have taken pictures of the steps it took to get to this point. See the 2 shiny circles on the left? They are made out of heat resistant template plastic. I cut the fabric l/4 " larger than the circle, ran a basting stitch around the edge and tied it closed around the circle template. Then I spray startched it, pressed it and voila! a perfect little 2" circle. I made 56 of them. The fun part was picking out the fabrics.
Cute, eh?
I have applliqued 6 scallops out of I don't know how many. I can't go too much farther because I need more of the dotted fabric. I hope Material Girls has it.
Cute, eh?
Today I am fellowshipping a lady the missionaries are teaching, so I won't get as much done.

This looks so cool. Your so cleaver. Why don't you live closer to me.
wow--that looks like a ton of work! Did you sign up for the paper dolls class? I'm still thinking about it.
Wow! You are so awesome! Too bad I didn't have time to do a lot of crafty stuff when we lived closer! You'll have to show off your finished project!
