Neo is 3 weeks old!

I spent the afternoon with Mabulane and Neo today.  Neo is 3 weeks old and she weighs 4.1 pounds.  She is growing steadily!
Mabulane  turned Neo from her tummy to her back...

 to change her diaper.

I could really tell that Neo had gained weight since I last saw her.  She has an extra fold of skin under her chin and her little legs and arms are getting a little bigger.  She looks like a normal sized baby in these photos, but she is still so small.  I marvel at how little her face is!  She was so sleepy.  Yawn, yawn, yawn.

I sang ♪ ♫ Happy Birthday ♫ ♪ to Neo, and she liked it.  She opened one eye.

 With a little more persuation, she opened the other eye, but barely.  Neo really likes to sleep.

 

 Mabulane is such a devoted mother, she is always at the hospital spending time with her precious daughter.  She walks to the hospital for every feeding, holds Neo for a while, and then walks back to the Ronald McDonald house until it is time to walk back to the hospital.  After work, Addison goes with Mabulane to the hospital for the 8:00 p.m. feeding.  The next day, their day starts all over again.

 Neo, you are such a cutie and your lips are so kissable!  I steal kisses when I can.

 

It would be good if you would wake up for every feeding !
