Thanksgiving at Lindsay and Jeremy's Home

We were so happy to spend Thanksgiving with most of our children and grandchildren.  Lindsay had all of us make some chocolate turkeys.
The turkeys were made with oreo cookies, miniature peanut butter cups, malted milk balls, candy corn, and glued together with icing.
Bridger was trying to be so patient....he really wanted to eat a turkey!
 Kennedy could barely contain herself!
 May I eat one?  Please?
Yummm........
Oh, this is really good.....
There were still turkeys left over for each place setting.
The tables were set.......
The children were waiting.......
with baby appetizers to tide them over.....
Some won't ever taste Thanksgiving dinner this year....
When outside there arose a loud clatter.....
Jordan had seasoned and prepared the turkey.
Everyone sprang outside to see what was the matter....
Sean bundled up, warming himself by the steam of the deep fried turkey.

Inside the house, we were awaiting the dinner.

The food is all ready. Jordan seasoned and fried the turkey.  It was fresh, Lindsay ordered it from a market in Salt Lake City.  I had to pick it up from the butcher and carry it to the cash register.  It was creepy because I knew it was fresh and I guess I better stop explaining!  Lindsay made stuffing with mushrooms, waterchestnuts and pine nuts.  Vanessa made sweet potato mallow.  I made green beans with toasted almonds, mashed potatoes and gravy.
Rebecca made homemade rolls and mushroom turnovers.
For dessert, Lindsay made a Harvest Nut Fruit pie, Jordan made a sweet potato pie and a pumpkin cheesecake. Everything was so delicious and we were all stuffed!
After dinner, we spoke to Addison and Mabulane.  Neo had only been home from the hospital for a few days.  She was just under 6 pounds.
All of these photos are what make Thanksgiving special, being with family ♥
We are thankful for many things, we have been very blessed.  Our greatest blessing is our family and spending time together.
