My Grandchildren

Baby Charlotte Leigh (Lindsay's middle name is Leigh) Nielson was born on April 9, 2010, 7 pounds 1 ounce, and 18 inches long.

Kennedy Grace Nielson is almost 3 years old, and Bridger Alan Nielson will be 5 in a week!

Charlotte is wearing her blessing gown and Kennedy is wearing the slip to her blessing gown (she was 3 months old when she was blessed!)  I can hardly believe that it still fits her, it comes down to her ankles.

And then there's little Charlotte.....

in the palm of her mother's hands.

It was quite an ordeal for Emilie to capture this photo, but she said it was her "dream" photo.

My arm is under the quilt on one side, and Lindsay's on the other, to sort of prop her body, and not have her fall.  Emilie positioned Charlotte with her head in her hands, and held her for about 5 minutes until she knew Charlotte wouldn't fall.  Then, voila!  Charlotte was so content.  For one, she is only 4 days old, and another, she was drunk on milk!  Photographer's secret.

Charlotte is so scrumptious!  I don't know if there is a word that adequately describes how cute she is.  I think she looks a lot like Bridger, it will be so fun to watch her grow up and develop her personality.
