Movie Night Out and Caramel Apples

Tonight, Lindsay and Jeremy and Bridger and Kennedy, came over for a movie and dinner.
I told Bridger I wanted to take his picture, and this is the pretty pose he gave me!

Here we are in the movie room. We watched "Baby's Day Out". It was about a baby who was kidnapped and he escaped and it showed all the adventures he had. He did the same things as the baby did in his favorite book, "Baby's Day Out". He went shopping, to the zoo, to a construction site and then to a retirement center. It was slapstick, sort of like "Home Alone." I saw it years ago and thought Bridger would like it.

Kennedy is showing off her necklaces.

Bridger is intent on eating a banana so he could help make the caramel apples.

First you hold onto the stem and twist so it will come out.

Then you push the stick into the apple.

Look, I did it!

Then the fun part. You dip the apple into the caramel, so no red is showing.

Yummy!

Now it is Mom's turn to artistically drizzle chocolate over the apples. Bridger is waiting very patiently to try one....

Sean digs into one, braces and all. He didn't eat the apple though, just ate the caramel off of it instead. Chicken!!!!!

Sean has the magic touch with Kennedy.

See? He certainly does have the magic touch......Goodnight.

That was really fun last night--thanks mom! The food was delicious too. Bridger woke me up this morning asking if he could go back to your house today--he desperately wants to have a sleep-over apparently! :)
