Sean just arrived at Dr. Anderson's orthodontic office. Notice all the balloons in the background, lots of kids getting their braces off.
Dr. Anderson told Sean that his teeth still aren't as perfect as he would like them, because Sean didn't wear his elastics often enough. We don't really want to spend more money with another orthodontist after we move, so the decision is made to take the braces off. Sean has worn his braces since November 2004!

Wow, that is a nice smile. Sean's teeth used to be incredible crooked with a huge overbite. Nice job Dr. Anderson. Haven't seen those pearly whites in a loooong time!
Tradition at Dr. Anderson's office, is when you get your braces off, they play the song "Celebrate" really loudly throughout the whole office for everyone to hear. Sean told us that he would dance, but I guess he chickened out. Then they present you with a ton of candy, a toothbrush and dental floss, all nicely packaged and attached to colorful balloons. I think they have a deal with our dentist down the hall.....ha ha ha!

Congrats Sean!! Now you still need to take care of your teeth becasue they stil do move around. They told me that when I went to the dentist and will need to get another retainer just to keep everything in place.
