Bridger is helping me with my project. He loved the ruler and the mechanical pencil. I spent a long time drawing a picture for my quilt only to leave for a moment and discover that Bridger had erased it! It didn't matter though, because I had to do it over.
Here we all are, the girls and Bridger.Lindsay, Kimalee, Rebecca, Bridger, me and Vanessa. Kennedy had already gone to bed.
Kim was playing with Bridger.
Vanessa was playing with Bridger.
Lindsay was working on a beautiful quilt for her baby nephew.
Rebecca was working on her braided rug that the three of us took a class for the other night.

Before we were working on our project, we had a really nice potluck dinner. I made a chicken pot pie with puff pastry on the top. Kim made a delicious fruit salad with apples, nectarines, mixed in yogurt and a little coconut. Rebecca made some delicious brownies with a chocolate graham cracker base, soaked in sweetened condensed milk, topped with a little coconut, fresh raspberries and drizzled with white chocolate. Lindsay also made brownies. Her brownies were fudgy with caramel and chocolate drizzled over the top. I think the Horst girls are known for their sweet tooths. Kim is joining us slowly, but surely.....Bridger had a magic corn on the cob. We put it in the microwave bag and it magically turned into popcorn. I wonder if he had any dreams about "Jack and the Beanstalk"?

Yeah, sorry about that--Bridger just thought that eraser was pretty magical--don't know if he's ever used one before!
that's quite a project. All you daughters are talented.
I can't wait to get together.
It seems like you all had lots of fun!
