Last weekend, Vanessa and I went to the fair together. This sculpture is made entirely of butter. The man inside the refrigerated case is finishing up his sculpture. He does it every year, but this is the first time I have seen it in person.
The big attraction at the fair this year, is the battered and deep fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich! They poured hot chocolate sauce over it and sprinkled it with powdered sugar. It was gooey and melty and oh, so good......Vanessa and I thought it would be fun to have a "deep fried"
party and batter and deep fry all sorts of food items.
Vanessa ordered the deep fried "Snickers bar". I had a bite, and the chocolate was completely melted. It was better than the PBJ. They also had deep fried oreo cookies and twinkies. I wonder what deep fried candy corn pumpkins would taste like? Sounds kind of gross actually.

How in the world do people learn how to sculpt out of butter??!!
Oh my heck, you guys have more fun with food. And the butter is so amazing. I love it!
